Sun Update Manager entitlements
When I check for updates in Sun Update Manager, I get an error box that says:
Unable to download entitlement information using the update delivery server https://getupdates1.sun.com/.
I don't have a Sun service contract. I use the freebie drivers and security patches update service.My system has been registered since 11/06 came out and this worked as recently as last week.
Has anybody else seen this error? What does it mean and how can I fix it?

If I click the "Installed Updates" tab and select a patch, I get an error box that says "You are not authorized to use this service." Again, this used to work.Is there some way I can wipe my Sun Update Manager settings out and re-register?

I saw the same thing, but our servers are registered. Gave an error all morning, now it works.
I'm not getting any replies from SUC support and I don't see any here so who knows what was up.
However I did see a new 1.0.8 client patch for Solaris 10 is out, not sure if there are updates to related pkgs in 8/9 (ppro and wbem)
