Ultra 20 sound issue

There is no sound from my Ultra 20 which is running Windows XP. I don't

know if this is a hardware problem (needs sound card) or a software

compatibility issue with Windows. I do get an error message saying

sound device not detected, although when I do a diagnostic, all audio

devices seem to be working.

I saw a patch for a similar problem on the Sun site, but when I down-

loaded from Microsoft, the file was not Win32 compatible.

Any help?

Did you Install Drivers from Suppliment cds ?
