Java Workstation W2100z Mouse/Keyboard Stutter

With a USB mouse, there is a distinct stutter, typically around HD reads or writes. I've tried everything ...mutliple OS, SCSI and IDE HD, and resetting the bios confiuguration. Can anyone help!!!!!!!!! This is driving me crazy.

Did that. Same problem. I stepped up to 2.5, but the problem is still here. Any other suggestions?

I have the same problem with my W1100Z. I upgraded to 2.4 and to 2.5 and on both versions the problem is still there.

I finally managed to solve the problem with the following solution.

I flashed the Bios with the 2.5 Supplemental CD and disabled AMD PowerNow! and the PS/2 Port in the Bios settings.

I have a W1100z with an AMD Opteron 150 and it seems, that this CPU does not support AMD PowerNow! As the machine does not have an PS/2 Port I disabled it in the BIOS.

After that, the problems with the mouse shutter were gone. Maybe it is helpful for someone else.
