I have to install my old 32 bit Solaris 2.5 onto Sun blade 2500 machine

Is this possible?

No. The first release of Solaris that contains support for the Blade 2500 is Solaris 8 - 5/03. Older releases lack the proper kernel for this class of machines. This is easily verified, just boot from a Solaris 2.5 or 2.6 CD. You are asked to enter the path to kernel - which is impossible because there is no proper kernel file ...

if this is not possible, is there an alternative for this?

Install Solaris 10. If you rely on some 32-Bit drivers or incompatible applications, use an older machine that supports earlier releases.
