cannot boot my ultra 10
cheer-s!i have an ultra 10 sun maschine without harddisk and OS.the mashine does NOT boot from the cdrom and the eeprom cannot be accessed by>STOPA

Hi,
How are you connected? via keybard + monitor? Have you try via the serial port?
Have you tried resetting the NVRAM? You have to but and press CTRL-N (try it several time) or, there is a way with the power button see this doc: http://docs.sun.com/app/docs/doc/816-1664-05/6m82ltort?a=view

100% perfect! the mashine is running.
i still do NOT know how to boot from CD, but now i can do some more fumbeling.
the reason, why i do want to install a new OS ist that i want to build in a new harddisk and use the existing 80 GB for other purposes, as this disk is my biggest.
