JAVA GUI Display is garbled !!

I have NVidia Geforce6500 over Asus K8N-VM running WinXP SP2.

I downloaded & installed jdk-1_5_0_10-nb-5_5-win.exe from your site. While running this installation the display was quite garbled and I was unable to type/see anything in input text boxes.

I somehow figured out the next but in installation wizard and thought that this might go of. But to my dismay it remained there.

I opened NetBeans and the comlpete display is garbled. Everything thats getting displayed using Java.

Please help me out.

See these search results. Some video drivers do not properly handle certain directdrive commands that Sun uses; also forced antialiasing can be a problem. You can try a newer driver, if one exists, or some of the solutions listed.
