using usb sticks with SRSS 3.1.1 on RHEL 4AS

I have installed SRSS 3.1.1 on RHEL 4AS following the Sun documentation. Everything seems to be working well except for USB memory sticks. I can insert one into the SunRay 170, but nothing happens. utdiskadm -l shows no mounts and $UTDEVROOT/mnt has nothing either. Does anyone have a step by step guide on setting this up, Sun seems pretty light in this area for their documentation.

Thanks in advance!!

Once you have Sun Ray services up and running, there's nothing special you need to do to get USB storage devices to work.

Can you see whether any errors are reported in the following log files ?

/var/opt/SUNWut/log/utstoraged.log

/var/opt/SUNWut/log/utmountd.log

/var/log/messages
