Hi,What is SSL client ? Does SSL client come default with Solaris 8?

The Solaris 9 secure LDAP client was backported to Solaris 8. I'm not aware of the patch number that took care of that but Tom's LDAP book lists it for you. Check out Sun Press for LDAP in the Enterprise.
You could also just setup IPSec and then any program is secured by default.
