iPlanet Console 5.0 on Solaris 9 (SPARC)
hello all,
i have recently discovered that iPlanet Console 5.0, Administration Server 5.0, and Directory Server 5.1 have all been installed on my SunBlade100. I do not recall manually installing any of these myself. i am assuming they were installed automatically when i first installed Solaris 9 three years ago (i opted for the whole shebang).
I decided to play around with iPlanet since its there; so, per the iPlanet docs on my machine, i ran (as root)
/usr/sbin/directoryserver startconsole
when i was prompted for login credentials, i put in my unix root login details plus my machine's hostname (i don't have a static ip address, btw). i used my unix login details because since i never installed these iPlanet components myself, I don't know any other username/pwd to give the iPlanet Console login prompt at this point.
so, my questions are:
1. is there someway i can find out what my iPlanet login might be?
2. is there someway to make iPlanet accept my unix login?
3. is there someway to find out what port the iPlanet Admin Server and Directory Server are running on?
4. is there _anything_ i can do (other than reinstalling iPlanet/JES)?
many thanks,
