screen resolution

I use a kvm switch that has a double tap on scroll lock. It seems that when I do it while Solaris 10 is booting the logon screen and the users display resolutions go out of whack. Is there a undo keystroke for this? Is there a way to fix this any other way? Thanks.

when it boots, & particularly before starting GUI mode desktop, it shows " localhost(my sys. hostname") console log in ." then you enter as root & after that it will ask pawword .., i.e.

localhost console login : root

password: your root password.

you have to done it very quickly , you have to enter those before login desktop,,,,

then it ppears "#"

then, you type,

# kdmconfig

after that you can set it,

N.B: Here it will shows, Xorg /Xsun

Solaris 10 is taking Xorg by default , I think this configartion does not match your display.. / Graphics.. then I suggest choose Xsun & setting up confiration..

thanks

Easiest way I see is to remotely login and then restart the login manager. The exact how heavily depends on what login manager you're using. If you're using the default then the easiest is probably to HUP the dtlogin process.
