sol10 wanboot installation and Flasharchive ...
Hi,
I just want to know whether I can install a remote server using the wanboot programwithout a flasharchive, i.e. using the old Jumpstart installation method (downloading and installing the SUN packages from the wanboot server to the client)

Nope.
I think the effort to get it working wasn't really encouraged because the performance of doing random I/O over a wire rather than just downloading an image was going to be much worse.
You can always install either a local boot server or get a DHCP server than can give out the right data. Both of those can work over a WAN, but take a bit more infrastructure than a real wanboot would.
