Solaris Reinstall help

I need some help.

I am a student who is trying to learn solaris. I got my hands on an old Netra D130 and installed SUN on it. From what my friend tells me i made some mistakes on the install and I need to reinstall solaris 10. But i can not get it to go. I get to the OK screen and type boot cdrom and it says

Can't read disk label

Can't open disk label package

Can't open boot device.

I thought it might be the CDRom but when i boot into solaris the cdrom works fine.

Can someone please help

The error messages suggest that there is some sort of problem with the CD disks that you made.

You may need to go make them all over again.

Though you may have been able to do that initial installation,

for some unknown reason the laser in the CDROM drive cannot read the boot sector any longer.

This next time, burn them at a SLOW speed, such as 4x.

By the way...

A Netra st D130 is a disk array, not a computer.

It is a JBOD chassis that holds three disk drives.

You may need to go back and read the name on the computer bezel again,

or on the label on the rear of its chassis, to determine the actual model you own.
