Solaris 9 9/05 vs. Solaris 9 9/05 HW

What is the difference between Solaris 9 9/05 and Solaris 9 9/05 HW?

I'm guessing that SOL9 9/05 HW is an OEM version pre-installed on Sun hardware.; is that correct? And if that's so, I'm still unusre how the 2 versions differ. HW just have add'l drivers for Sun hardware?

The reason for my question is, we have a V240z that came with SOL 10 pre-installed, but our applications only support up to SOL 9, so I have to replace the OS with SOL 9.
