Sorry for troubling you with one more query. Have you guys ever installed Solaris 10 on IBM T43? I am facing a problem while doing so. I am able to pass the first two steps, but after the kdmconfig screen, I am simply getting a blank screen. No menu-based blue screen. Can you please help?

Dear All,
I have found the solution this problem thanks to Matthew from Sun Corporation. Here are the solutions quoted by Matthew:
[1] Try the workaround as listed in the Z60t entry:
Manually set up video configuration during Solaris installation,
otherwise screen will go blank. Use these settings:
XF86-VESA VESA-compatible video cards; MultiFrequency 56 kHz Monitor,
14-inch Screen.
After installation, no problem with video display.
[2] Select Console text mode as your interaction method for installation.
Please keep me posted on your progress. An update may be required to
the T43 entry if this is indeed the problem you are experiencing.
I am pretty happy that the first solution worked well for me.
