Flash archive from FTP server

I created a flash archive for a Solaris 10 x86 server. I then moved the file to my Solars 9 x86 ftp server, and placed the file in several directories, tried each and keep getting the error:

The following errors were detected in the archive(s) you selected:

-unexpected error found with media or archive selected

Please reselect the Flash archives you want to install.

I know my FTP server is running. The archive has been given 777 permissions (this is a test environment). So what am I missing?

1. Does the size of the .flar file matter, this one is only 2.6 GB?

2. Which directory am I dumped into once I FTP to the server, the home directory of the user account? Is the path specified absolute or relative?

I am new to Solaris in general and want to be able to FTP some flasharchives to a separate server, then clone them out or use them for DR.

NOTE: the machine I am trying to install via flasharvhive is the same server the archive came from.

It appears after testing further the flash archive is corrupt.
