sun v480 in startup shows falet error

and not booting automatically

it shows

ERROR: (0201) Invalid "RO" Container Header Tag

FAULT: Motherboard/Centerplane FRU SEEPROM

FATAL: Errors encountered in core system config probe

Configuration error mask 0000.0000.0000.0100

Aborting auto-boot sequence.

That's definitely a catastrophic component failure.

It appears that a SEEPROM chip on your V480 Centerplane has failed.

There would be no workaround except to replace the centerplane.

You may be in for an expensive repair if you don't have a service contract.

The only way to get an accurate diagnosis is to open a service case with Sun.
