Sun Server 250 enterprise Cant Open Boot Device

Hey guys i really need some help im new to sun servers. Its a enterprise 250 and when i boot up it says drive not ready cant read disk label cant open disk label package than it says Boot device: net File and Args: than it just keeps saying timeout waiting for arp/rarp packet and just keeps going if u have a solution can u email me at joshvette001@gmail.com

you just need to load the OS... use the Stop + A keys to get a open prompt, then with your Solaris CD(or DVD) type boot cdrom. when you get to the place it asks what language you want, right click in the window and open a new window. type format and select a hd... it will ask if you want to label the drive, say yes... repeat this for each drive that isn't labelled...

HEY harold thanks for your quick response but i dont have a solaris disk so i was loading a sparc version of linux on it and once i finish loading it it gives me the same error but now the net things isnt there its just cant open boot device by the way do you have aim or yahoo or msn we can talk quicker

download the first cd from the Sun web site... that is the easiest way... which Linux distro are you trying?just curious,haroldkarl

Yeah i was using ubuntu server edition but now im getting a read error on my cd drive it is the same error. Im not sure what to do was seeing if you can reset the boot thing im not sure man thats why i was asking if u had yahoo, aim or msn.
