Is the X4600 Raid controller (LSISAS1064) able to provide raid 1+0

I have an X4600 with 4 internal disks. Using the LSI-configuration utility I am able to create mirrors or stripes. However, I can't figure out how to create a stripe from two mirrors. That is, first I want to create two mirrors and then to stripe the mirrors.Ey饀n

The controller is limited to low cost integrated RAID solution that supports RAID 1 or RAID 0. I think you will need to use a volume manager to stripe the RAID 1 arrays. What OS are you using?mlennon at 2007-7-7 3:43:14 >
