Sun server-can i create a .jks file?

Hi,

I've set up my certificates already for my sun server 6.x. I can successfully connect to our LDAP based on my cert8 and key3-this works great.

I'm trying to run another app, given to me from another developer, that I think only recognizes a .jks file to hold cert info.

I was told I could possibly use the cert8.db file but I'm having problems changing the trust attributes in my cert8 file, but I wasn't having any luck, so I thought I could possibly create a .jks file w/ the same key pair I created w/ my cert8 file.

If I've already created my cert8 and key3, can I create a jks file using similar parameters as cert8 and key3?

TIA

This forum is hosted for discussions on the COMPUTERS that Sun manufactures

as server systems, not for Sun's various SOFTWARE application server suites.

Your question seems to be about some sort of software issue.

Perhaps you might consider one of the other forums, instead.

Maybe something like ...http://forum.sun.com/jive/index.jspa?tab=es

That's the list of forums from the "Java ES" tab at the top of the forum list.
