Security Warning on New SGD Users

Hi All,

New users to our SGD server get an Internet Explorer popup:

****************************************************************

Warning - Security

The application's digital signature has an error. Do you want to run the application?

Name: com.tarantella.tta.client.tcc.lwplugin.pluginF.TCCHelper

Publisher: Sun Microsystems, Inc.

From: https://tarantella.server.com

checkbox: always trust content from this publisher:

The digital signature was generated with a trusted certificate but has expired or is not yet valid.

*****************************************

This popup continues to appear unless the users checks the "Alyways trust content from this publisher' check box. It has only been noticed now.I've checked the certificate on the SGD server using security certinfo and everything checks out ok.

I have a feeling that it's the certificate on the SGD plugin that has the issue.

I've raised an call with SUN now but I thought others may have experienced the same problem.

cheers,

Chaz
