PS7 and LDAPv3 IDRepo

I installed the PS7 and Access Manager. Then I configured an access manager organization with a LDAPv3 repository. After adding the desktop service, and when I logon to the desktop using a user in the LDAPv3 repository, I can logon, but no desktop is displayed. What's also wierd is that when I add a user to the organization from the AM console, the user can log on and see the desktop with membership authentication.

Could someone please tell me how to configure the LDAPv3 IDRepo so that users in there can see/configue the portal desktop?
