tomcat not working when studio creator is installed
i have been using tomcat and decided to try out the studio creator.
unfortunately, tomcat does not start up anymore when the studio creator is already installed. i have to uninstall it so tomcat can run again. i have been told that the studio creator does something to the path but i have no further details on why this is happening and how to resolve this issue.
i hope someone here can help me.

Probably, it is a case of port conflicts. Check the tomcat's server log for more info.
Does tomcat start, if creator is closed/shutdown?
If yes, i would suggest you to reinstall creator with tomcat up and running. This would make creator grab new set of ports that doesn't conflict with tomcat.

yep i already did all this
i thought it was a case of port conflict the first time it happened so i had tomcat running when i installed creator and it was fine at first. the next day, tomcat would not start. i uninstalled tomcat and assigned it to port 8085 so it would not conflict but it still does not work :-(
