mmp log :client socket IO error 146
I received lots of error message in my mmp log like following,and then most of my users's client (Outlook/Outlook Express) pop up a diaglog to input username and password :
20061123 164106 PopProxyAService.cfg (sid 0x460e4dc) client socket IO error 146
i receive 30000+ messages with the same error(146) in 30 mintutes or so.
could anybody tell me what's the error means? thx!

Hi,
This could be due to the server that the MMP was attempting to relay connection to being unavailable for one reason or another.
There have been reports of such errors due to the MMP being enabled for POPS but the back-end store not being enabled, so the connections are dropped.
Can you get a copy of a full session trace so we can tell at what point the connection was dropped i.e. grep "0x460e4dc" <POP LOG> | grep "20061123 1641" and which user was failing, so you can look at the back-end store POP logs.
