Convertion channel antivirus IMSS

Good day Jay and other gurus.

Convertion channel is not working:

Check mappings file

IN-CHAN=tcp_scan;OUT-CHAN=*;CONVERT No

IN-CHAN=tcp_*;OUT-CHAN=*;CONVERT Yes,Channel=tcp_scan

The mail goes straight to the mailbox doesnt use tcp_scan channel

Already done:

imsimta build

imsimta restart

without sucess.

Its necessary to do something else? because I so lots examples like that

First, you NEED to apply patch 2, at least. You are running code that's 4 years old.

Second, Messaging Server 5.2 is scheduled for End Of Support Life, early next year. You should be looking at 6.2 (or, 6.3 will be out early next year, too).

Now, after you apply patch 2, we can talk about what virus scanner you're using, and the best way to handle it.

Hi Jay and others.I installed new messaging - Sun Java System Messaging Server 6.2-3.04(built Jul 15 2005).But same problem the mail goes straight to the mailbox doesnt use tcp_scan channel.Please help.Thanks

Now that you have something nearly current, you should look at using the "aliasdetourhost" instead of conversaion channel.It's easy, and works far better than the old way. What virus product are you using?
