I work at a company with 81,000 people worldwide. There are people here who have worked for the company (through various mergers/acquisitions/etc.) longer than either of us has been alive. The lockdown only occurred recently (this past summer, maybe even fall).

Do they block Google? If not, then you can get Google to proxy any site for you by using the translator set to English->English. A handy bookmark automates the process:
javascript:document.location.href='http://www.google.com/translate?langpair=en|en&u='+location.href
A useful trick due to Google almost always being unblocked.

Google's not, and babelfish for chunks of text is not, but either is blocked for translating a whole webpage:

Thanks for raising my blood pressure, Jeff. I must now stick a fork in my eyeball to ease the pain of that phone call.
Man, that guy has patience.
just my .002 cents
Yeah, I don't understand how this guy went 27 mins without screaming. He is pretty calm throughout the thole ordeal. I'll have to admit, It took me about a min to understand what he was talking about in the beginning. These people just seem really dense to not understand that when you multiply KB by cents/KB you don't end up with dollars!!!

Flash? If you already have flash plug-in installed, then it might need
a newer one (maybe 8.0). As far as I know Flash 8.0 is not available
on Linux yet :(

I was ready to punch something. More than once,I found myself opening my mouth to expalin to the idiots why they were wrong. It was quite frustrating to remember that they weren't actually there live for me to verbally bitchsmack.

I have the latest Flash 7 installed (updated yesterday to see if that was the problem) and I can see Flash on that linked page but I don't hear or see the target phone call!
:-( Never mind!

RE: what is fixed bias with and without decoupling cap...

with ta decoupling capacitor u cannt get o/p bcz it blocks the DC and allows only AC ok .... is u dont us it it give the o/p but it's DC only so no use to hav a DC voltage in O/P ok
OR
RE: why the suply frequency in INDIA is 50HZ

hi
There is a condition that in india the electrical power generation is only by natural process such as running water from falls, hydel energy ,bio fuels etc.
But in USA the power gen is nuclear so they have 110v,60Hz.

This is why nuclear (nucular in Texan) is so problematic in Europe, we have to double up the power station to get the voltage and apply a brake to the generator to get it to run at 50Hz.

For any of the oldies like me watching who don't understand Hz, Hz == cps.

I ran across one of those (a line delay mem, not an old ****) when I was disassembling some retired equipment in the student workshop in college. Truly bizarre.

I ran across an old **** in the supermarket carpark, anyone know where I can get a dented fender fixed discreetly.

We had a training computer when I was at college (clown or barber?) it had magnetic core memory. It was programmed via control panel,it had little 12V bulbs connected to each bit in the CPU registers, no LEDs when it was made.
It was very "Lost in Space"
