Stuck with first Netbeans application

Hi all !!

Yes, I'm a newbie and I'm trying to leave VB6. I've just installed Netbeans 5.5 with Visual Web Pack, created a database connection using JDBC to ODBC bridge (this connection is working fine) and created a Default Web Application, then I dropped a dropdown box into the frame and dragged a table unto the dropdown box, and it seems to get connected.

Now I try to run just that, and I keep getting "HTTP Status 500". Can somebody help me please ?

Thanks in advance,

Daniel

First of all I wouldn't try to start with webapplications as a first NB application since you'll take on several unfamiliar things at the same time. Why not begin stand alone, get to know the IDE, and work your way up from there?

Alas; your question cannot be answered since it all depends on your code. Best hint would be to look into the logfile of the application server to see what it tells you about the cause of this error.
