Automatic Backups becoming a nuisance!!!

Hi,

I am experiencing a strange problem with Directory Server.

I have setup 2 servers with directory server replication enabled. There are logs being generated every 3 days in the folder:

/var/sun/mps/slapd-carbon01/bak/

This has filled up the disk space for the var partition and we are unable to do any processing on the directory server.

Can somebody explain how this problem has occurred and how to revert it back so that so many logs are not generated?

I have normal logging set where log files are not to exceed 100 MB.

I am talking about 15 GB here!

Besides, these are not logs - they are backups of the directory server which are being created automatically.

I think it might have something to with DB2BAK command that I tried once is there anyway of checking/disabling this command?
