SAP Portal Groups provisioning

Hi,

We are provisioning to an SAP Enterprise Portal resource. The portal is configured such that the user store is an Active Directory and the datastore is a private database.

When I pull a user view, I get group attributes from both the private data store as well as from Active Directory. I need to be able to modify this attribute to add groups from the private database (e.g. the UME) but not touch the AD groups. Is there any way to do this?
