Like. J2SE increases regularly, but JMF does not.

If so - it is largely because JMF is (effectively,

if not actually) abandoned by Sun.

I think a whole load of applications based on the

current JMF*, as well as a swathe of development

using it, would be more effective at convincing

Sun to revisit & update the JMF, than 'begging'.

* Or in other Java based, media frameworks.

thanks.dont know what is your attitude about the stalled jmf?i think we here should pretest sun all together,untill got a reply.if definitly abandoned,we should leave here.

I'm sure we could start asking everyone to just start posting messages like this "See to jmf, Sun, See to it". Not only in this forum but also in other java forums. It's painful to see java getting so much better without the much needed improvement in multimedia! Aaargh!
