Is ACOS2 or ACOS5 compatible with Java Card?

Hi to all!

I code for 6 years, but currently I am new to the smart cards. I have one dev kit for smart cards with ACOS2 cards and one ACOS5 card, but in the specs there is nothing about Java Card or writing a program and inserting it into the card. Are these cards compatible with Java Card?

ACOS2 and ACOS5 are developed by Advanced Card Systems. They are not Java card OS based and not compatible with Java Card.More info: http://www.acs.com.hk/Products_Smart_Cards.asp

I`ve search on the official Java Card site, but I did not find a clear list of the supported cards. Could you tell me which cards supports Java OS, and what is the advantage? Do you code small java apps into the smart card or?
