update manager solaris 10

When running update manager:

cd /usr/bin

../updatemanager

The system automatically comes up with the message Unknown protocol: defaultUpdateSource.

When I check the configuration, use proxy authentication is enabled, but we don't want it to be. When I try to disable it I get the message Error in storing preferences
