OS upgration to solaris 9

Hi ,

We have four E450 machines, solaris 5.8 and 5.6 is running in that machine,In solaris 5.8 Firewall application is running ,in solaris 5.6 DNS and RADIUS application is running. i want to upgrade live to solaris 9.

Machine information :

SunOS chnfw1 5.8 Generic_108528-19 sun4u sparc SUNW,Ultra-4

Questions:

1.How to check the type of hardware number like 10/01 (example solaris 5.6 10/01).is there any command.

2.Any one knows,what command is used to refresh the updated file in solaris 5.6.

3.please give me the guidance to upgrade all the machines
