getupdates1.sun.com doesn't respond, but getupdates.sun.com seems to work fine.What's up? (or down as the case may be ;-))

not sure why Sun never replied but it seems to be responfing now.

Not that that helps much, smpatch was working fine last time I used it a week or so ago, now it's so messed up that I can't trust it.

What's going one with this stuff? I have analyze showing patches that won't apply. Some are for x64 and the system is Sparc and others are looking for pkgs that aren't even installed on the box! Not like a few either, lots of them.

My guess is that someone released something smpatch related and there wasn't a lot of QA involved.

This appears to be a meta-data issue again, please provide us with a list of the offending patches and we will be able to determine if these are existing bug's, or whether we will need to file further bug reports.
