Next release of SunUCE

I heard that the next release (1.1?) of Sun Update Connection Enterprise Edition will support running the System Dependency Server on Solaris. Can anyone confirm this? When will version 1.1 be available?

To the best of my knowledge no date has yet been set. The team are working on a Solaris version of the SDS but i'm not aware of any estimated release date or timescale for completion

The next release of SunUCE with the System Dependency Server running on Solaris is scheduled for mid-February. It has already been released internally - and I've already installed it on my laptop (Toshiba Protege running Solaris 10 x86). It's great since it will run both in the Global zone as well as a non-global zone if necessary.

This isn't out yet, but we expect this to be released on or around the 25th of this month.
