Help me change my Ultra 40's refresh rate

Hi all,

I'm the recent recipient of the Ultra 40, and there seems to be an issue with the screen resolution or refresh rate. Whenever I goto boot the machine, it boots and post fine however when it comes time to login, the screen attempts to change its resolution, but fails and stays black. Currently I have two 20 in trinitrons that can display upto 1600x1200 @ 60hz. I normally run my monitors 1280x1024 @ 75hz. Now I'm new to solaris, but not new to Linux or other unicies that are available. What file or files do I need to edit in order to change the default resolution and refresh rate of the screens or could my problem be related to something else?
