rqthrottle virtualserver

Hello,

We use Sun Java System Webserver 6.1 sp2 on a windows 2003 server, Dual 3:00 GHX Xeon processor with 3.7 GB RAM.

There is one virtual server. # acceptor threads=2. RQThrottle = 400.

Earlier RQthrottle was increased from 128 to 400

Would there be any advantage in setting up two or three virtual servers (instead of one) and separating the users into thre groups? The idea is to prevent a sudden increase in the number of simultaneous connections on one virtual server?

Thanks

having multiple virtual servers should make no significant difference in performance when compared to single virtual server.
