All day event /no busy time

I have stumpled upon a problem using Sun Java System Calendar Server 6.1. When an all day event is scheduled with marked flag for including this event in the free busy list it will not be shown as busy to other users.

This looks very similar to http://forum.sun.com/jive/thread.jspa?forumID=3&threadID=15214.

Is there still no fix for this problem around ?

JuWo

Hi Shane,

we are using the Java Enterprise System 2005Q4 on Linux with Calendar Express as interface.

I haven't found any patches for it . The version SCS6.1 is mentioned in the ics5.conf file as current version.

> ! Sun ONE Calendar Server version.

> product.version = "6.1"

After a close look, I realised that the installed RPMs are marked with a newer version tag:

># rpm -qa |grep sun-calendar

> sun-calendar-core-6.2-10.8

> sun-calendar-api-6.2-10.8

> sun-calendar-core-de-6.2-10.7

Are there any newer versions available for the calendar ?

JuWo

Hi JuWo,

There are later patches but you will need to log a Sun support call to get them.

Reading through the release notes of the later patches, I couldn't see anything that mentioned your specific error - based on this it would seem that more detailed review of the problem that I can offer through the forum is needed.

Cheers,

Shane
