System Shuttig Down Even With autopm disabled

Hi,

We have a Netra t1 105. It goes down sporadically every 1 to 3 days (typically). I haven抰 seen this happen during use, it抯 usually upon coming in the morning that it抯 found to be down (i.e. at BIOS 搊k?prompt). I disabled power management using 揳utopm disable?plus I used 搉oshutdown?in the autoshutdown entry.

Once I issue "boot" it comes up OK.

What could be causing this shutdown?

Thank You

First, there is no BIOS in a SPARC system.

But, be that as it may ...

Are there any entries in the MESSAGES file that can give any hints

as to HOW the system comes down ?

Netra T-105 has a resource page in the Sun System Handbook

http://sunsolve.sun.com/handbook_pub/Systems/Netra_t1_105/Netra_t1_105.html

There's a link on that page for the T-105's documentation,

including the Admin Guide and its Service Manual.

How are you connecting to console ?

Through the LOM port or through the system's TTYa port ?

Is there a loose cable to that console port (that occasionally breaks its connectivity) ?

Glance through the man pages for "kbd".
