Mail Internationalization

Hi!

We have an application that is running in Solaris 8 US-English version. We currently use rmail to send email notification messages from the application to users. We need to be able to send email in international language (both in subject and body). I have two questions regarding this.

1. Is there any email client running on Solaris that can be used to send email in any language?

2. Do we need to configure sendmail to enable internationalized email messages? I have set the character set to Unicode in the sendmail.cf file. This is not helping.

I would greatly appreciate any help in this matter.
