smdiskless list returns "null"?
Hi,
I've been trying to get a Solaris 10 x86 diskless client setup going but am having lots of problems with missing packages (in spite of attempting to install the "ARCH=all" packages). So I decided to scrub the whole thing and start over, but when I try to simply list the diskless client via "smdiskless list", I get a single line with "null" on it instead of the client's name. You can imagine that an "smdiskless delete" doesn't do much without the correct name and it doesn't like either "null" or the client's real name.
An "smosservice delete" complains that a diskless client is still using the services and it gives me the correct name of the diskless client.
I've pulled everything down via "smdiskless delete" and "smosservice delete" a couple of times before, but smdiskless has somehow lost track of its client this time.
By the way, this is S10 FCS (no patches).
Thanks,
Dave
