Hello,I am getting following error but machine works fine.00070002: "VOLTAGE_SENSOR @ MB.V_+1V5 has exceeded low warning threshold."I tried to google it but most of them are related to Mother Board battery.

Well, these two lines indicate that there's something wrong with your hardware and that you need to have the system serviced by Sun.> MB V_+1V5 warning (1.26V)> .. > MB SERVICE on amberCheers!Thomas

HmmmI do not want that answer, that why I posted it on the forum.

In a past incarnation, I supported those systems

as a Sun Hardware Techsupport Engineer.

I took my share of V210/V240 support calls.

You need to open a service case.

At least be prepared to have a recent Explorer available for them to analyze.

If there is no contract coverage on that system, expect to experience some expense (systemboard).

Well, it certianly wouldn't hurt to try replacing the MB battery, everyone has a fe wlying around. Although more likely the faulty volatge is generated on the MB and you have a faulty MB. Or perhaps there is a piece of conductive junkshorting out 1.5V somewhere and giving the host a good dusting will dislodge it.

If the issue were with that CR2032 button cell battery that's in the V240,

the error would specifically mention MB_BATT and would also describe

a problem with a 3-volt signal.

Also, there would be consequential issues with NVRAM settings maintained by the battery.

I fear this is a malfunction with a 1.5v signal tracing in the systemboard

such as with the I2C bus.

A support case is the only hope for a definitive answer.

Hi,

Has anybody solved this?

I have the very same problem now too and would like to avoid a Sun Service call.

You most likely need to replace the system board.
