Emulex Fcode install error

I get the following error when trying to install Fcode on a Solaris 8 machine. HBA is working fine and firmware is up to date.Error: Mailbox Command Failed (FFFF0000) Mailbox Command = 1C, Status = F1Any idea what's causing this error?

Are you using lpfc driver provided by Emulex ? Emulex now supports SUN's SAN FOUNDATION SUITE (SFS) via the emlxs driver. There is a whole bunch of information regarding that on Emulex's website. You will also need the latest SFS patches for s8 from sunsolve.
If you are already using SFS and emlxs, then maybe modinfo output and a screen dump of the failure will help identify the issue.
