sendmail issue

We haven't configured the sendmail and this sun server(5.9) not used as mail server or gateway.

/var/log/syslog showed following:

Not sure why you're getting those messages, but you could package-remove sendmail if you're never going to use it on that box, or you could stop the sendmail daemons and even write a file into /etc/rc2.d that will stop them on boot.
