active NFS replica

Hi all,

I've recently had an issue with NFS replicas.

The filesystem mounted on a client had incorrect permissions set on a directory, yet another client using a different replica had the correct permissions set.

I had to track down the incorrect replica and correct the permissions, and I resorted to using snoop to establish which NFS server was providing the filesystem to the client.

I think there must be a better way to get this information, does anyone know a better solution than snoop?
