ssh clients (putty) received "Server unexpectedly terminal connection" msg

hi,

I'm running solaris 10 (Generic_118833_17) on a Sun Fire V240. I was able to connect using putty to this server via ssh. When I tried this morning I received "server unexpectedly terminal the connection" message from my machine.

I tried to do "svcadm restart ssh" on the server console but to no avail.

I've checked and comfirmed that the sshd is running and it is also listening on the correct interface on port 22 (I can "telnet mymachine 22").

The messages file reflected the following:

Oct 14 10:30:32 mymachine genunix: [ID 457380 kern.notice] NOTICE: core_log: sshd[22058] core dump failed, errno=2: /var/core/core/core.sun4u.global.usr/lib/ssh.22058

I would appreciate your opinion on this matter.

Thanks.
