If I recall correctly, it is a command-line utility that is used
to administer filesystems on OLDER storage arrays.
A5200's, A3500FC's, SSA200-series, etc.
I doubt that new generation arrays work well with old generation utilities.
Have you reviewed the documentation for those array peripherals?
The SE3000-series arrays have a broad offering of manuals,
in multiple languages, to help you with their installation and administration.

Those documents would guide you toward the software tools that Sun expects you to use.
