ftp weird problem, please helpppp

Hi,

I have a sunfire 280R server, i just upgraded from solaris 9 to 10, installed cool stack and got apache up and running, then i created a FTP account so that the webadmin can use it to update the website.

The problem now is that when connecting to FTP using internet explorer i authenticate and then the folders are not showing.

i tried to ftp from another solaris machine, for my surprise it worked, i could see a file listing and could even download. i have ftp with the same configuration on an 86x machine with solaris 10 and its working fine, also i used it before on the solaris 9 on the same sunfire server and there were no problems.

Please note that i use chroot for that ftp directory and that i've tried to use mozilla shipped for solaris as ftp client and also smart ftp client but both didn't work.

Please help, its really urgent.

just tried the command line ftp tool on windows xp and it worked too.

ftp> get vice.html

200 PORT command successful.

150 Opening ASCII mode data connection for vice.html (11810 bytes).

226 Transfer complete.

ftp: 12091 bytes received in 1.45Seconds 8.32Kbytes/sec.

It seems the problem is just for GUI, which is the most needed by the webadmin :(.

Please note that i use the ftp server shipped with solaris 10.
