Please help me with Sun Storedge !!!

Hello Everyone,

I need help very urgently !!!

We have a Sun Fire v240 with attached disk storage ( STOREDGE 3310 RAID AC). We were relocating the servers and while re-connecting I made something wrong in the SCSI and now it seems that the file system which would be mounted on the external Disk Enclosure has been corrupted.

Could anyone help me out with a solution please. I'm new to solaris and got exposure only to HP UX. It is a production server and I'll have to resolve this at the earliest.

Please help me.

Please post more details.

If you have a map of how the system looked before the relocation (for inst. how the RAID was configured, LUNs etc) it'd be helpful.

Also what kind of mistake did you make in the SCSI while connecting it back?

It'd be prudent for you to check whether you have good backups. I hope you had run a full backup before trying to relocate the server?
