Failed to add SMC agent into topology
Hi,
The configuration is as below:
The SMC server and agent are running on serverA, and another SMC agent is running on serverB.
I started the SMC console, and tried to add the serverB's agent into the topology. But it failed.
In the SMC's server.log, I could find:

What's the meaning of "bad error index...." and "too many consecutive reports", and how to avoid it?
Thanks.

I'm having the exact same problem. Did you ever resolve this?
Does anyone know what causes this? I had thought it was because of a firewall issue, but I have since gotten our network guys to allow the port (8081 is what I use) as well as
162, 163, 164, 165 (when it still didn't work)
I have tried es-setup -F on the agent numerous times to re-seed but no joy...
