StorADE & SMC 3.5 once gain

I am trying to make both these beasts to run together. I've installed them (SMC first, StorADE afterwards). I've installed patches:

117650-60

117654-60

118222-08

118223-08

118224-08

118225-08

and additional packages:

systemSUNWesraa The RASAgent module for SUNMC agent

systemSUNWesras The RASAgent module for SUNMC server

When I pull out the HDD from 3510 I've got an alarm in StorADE but it doesn't send notification to SMC. In StorADE in Administration->Setup->Notification I

ve checked SunMC as remote provider and entered the correct IP address of SunMC. What should I check to get the alarms finally sent to SunMC console?

You are definitely not the first person to wonder about this....

Just for interests sake, on your storade system do a:

rasagent -d 3 -r

and towards the end of the output, look at the Provider information and see if SunMC gets updated/populated. Make sure you have a good history in your window as if you have lots of devices, you could miss this. If you have a switch between your hba and storage, you will see the topology update in the output.

If the SunMC provider stuff is there and there is nothing in SunMC, stop and start the agent again and do the rasagent -d 3 -r again.

There was something weird about getting the two things to work and I can't remember what it was as it was about 2 years ago.
